What’s the Best RX 9070 XT Model for Low Noise and Temperatures?

Hey folks! I'm in the market for an RX 9070 XT and I'm looking for recommendations on which model performs best regarding coil whine, sound levels, and temperatures while gaming. I've also heard that coil whine can sometimes be affected by the power supply unit (PSU). I'm currently using a Corsair RM850x. Could my PSU be contributing to coil whine issues, or is coil whine usually just a GPU-related problem? I'd really appreciate any insights on a quiet RX 9070 XT model with stable temperatures and whether my PSU is likely fine. Thanks a lot!

You might want to check out some review videos. Generally, coil whine can be a bit of a lottery, and you might drive yourself crazy trying to avoid it completely. The cards vary, but I’ve seen good reports about the Taichi model having lower noise normalized temps, even with higher power draw.

I’ve already seen a couple of those roundup videos, but it’s tough to choose! Thanks for the insight!

Totally agree! I wonder why they didn’t normalize power in tests—it seems like a simple thing to do!
