I'm making the switch from AM4 to AM5 and I'm looking to get the most value for my money on a CPU. I have storage and a case already sorted, and I plan on investing most of my budget in an RX 9060 XT and a decent PSU. For now, I want an entry-level AM5 CPU, but I'm open to upgrading my CPU later on. What would you recommend as the best bang for my buck?

Honestly, the 7600 is also a great pick. Just go for the one that fits your budget best, but I've seen the 9600X going for about $197 on Amazon right now.
The Ryzen 5 9600X is a solid choice. It works great with the 9060XT and even 9070XT without any issues. I've got a build with the 9600X and 9070XT, and it's performing excellently.
The 7700 for around $150 is a steal if you're looking for something with longevity. It'll be good for a long time without needing an immediate upgrade.
Sounds like a decent option! I’ve also seen the 7500F for around €120, which is worth considering.
If you're looking for the best price-performance, I'd recommend the R5 7500F if it's available near you. Otherwise, just pick the cheapest option from the 7000 or 9000 series that you can find.
Yeah, but you might want to grab the 7600X instead if you find it at a better price.
