What’s the Best Way to Manage Hybrid Clouds?

I'm trying to figure out how to effectively manage a hybrid cloud setup where some of my servers are in the cloud and others are on my local infrastructure. What are the best practices for connecting and managing these environments? I was considering using a VPN, but I'm curious if there are better options, especially with Google Cloud in the mix.

SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) is another great option for hybrid cloud management. It provides secure access directly to users and devices, which can simplify things.

If your local infrastructure is running on vSphere, consider using Tanzu. It allows you to manage everything from a single console, making it easier to integrate your local and cloud resources.

You might want to look into mesh overlay networks. They can streamline your cloud-to-cloud connections by avoiding the need to route traffic through third parties, plus they keep your ports closed for security. It's a solid way to achieve a more robust connectivity setup.

If you're looking for alternatives, overlay networks like Tailscale with WireGuard can also work well for hybrid cloud setups. They allow for secure, direct connections without needing VPNs for each connection.
