I'm struggling with some legacy applications that just won't uninstall properly on our Windows machines. The usual Control Panel uninstallers don't seem to work, and even when I try manual removal, there are still registry entries left behind. I've experimented with a few tools like uninstaller.ipcmaster, and while it worked occasionally, I'm still on the lookout for a more dependable enterprise-level solution. What tools or methods do you recommend for cleanly removing software across multiple systems?

Wiping and reimaging is probably the quickest fix. If it’s taking too long to uninstall a program, it's often better to just go that route. Patching over a problem usually leads to more issues down the line. You’ll save more time in the long run by reimaging, especially if keeping the machine stable is a priority.

Yeah, takes about an hour and a half to do a reimage. If software removal is going to take longer than that, it's usually not worth it. Better to reset than mess around too much.
