I'm currently building an application that displays different content based on the user's location, but I'm hitting a wall with IP-based geo-blocking during testing. My local IP only reflects one location, and I've found VPNs to be unreliable for precise location testing. Free proxies are too slow and often end up blocked. I specifically need to simulate requests from various geographical locations without running into these barriers. I came across simplynode.io, which might help with providing IPs from different regions. I'm looking for insights from other developers: What do you use to test location-based features? How do you manage IP rotation in both development and QA? Any particular tools or services that are effective for accurate geographic testing? Also, how do you incorporate location testing in your CI/CD pipeline while balancing effective testing and development speed?

Honestly, the easiest solution is just to start traveling! But I totally get that it's not feasible for most of us.

If only my budget allowed for a world tour! For now, I need a solution I can run from my desk.
