With all the cyber risks nowadays, I'm trying to figure out which browser is the best choice for security. Should I stick with Google Chrome or switch to Edge? I'm using a Windows computer that's always up to date, but I want to make sure I'm browsing safely.

I’d say brave is a solid top choice for security features, followed closely by Firefox as long as you tweak the settings right. But yeah, since Brave is not based on Chromium, it doesn’t collect user data like Chrome and Edge do, making it a better pick for the security-conscious.

What specific settings should I change in Firefox to optimize security? Can you break it down for me?

If we're talking pure security, Chrome actually takes the lead. Just make sure to enable the enhanced safe browsing feature and HTTPS-only mode. Also, protecting your Google account with two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of safety, so don’t skip that!
