Has there been a recent decline in AWS support? I logged a support ticket a week ago, and I've yet to receive any response. I also tried to initiate a chat, but it just sits idle without being assigned to anyone. I currently have basic support, but in the past, my support requests were addressed quickly and helpfully. I'm not trying to criticize AWS or its employees; I'm genuinely curious why responses seem to take so long now, especially when their site states they aim to reply within 24 hours.

I heard they might have replaced some handlers with AI. However, it looks like the AI might be on a permanent break because it's taking ages for people to get help.
Even enterprise support has been hit or miss lately. It can take quite a bit of effort to get in touch with someone who actually knows how to help.
Honestly, if you're depending on AWS for critical tasks, it's probably worth considering an upgrade to business support. Basic support is just way too slow right now.
It seems like a lot of their services are struggling lately, likely because of layoffs and outsourcing. The support has definitely suffered as a result. Basic support isn’t really a priority for them anymore.
I feel for you! It's disappointing when support doesn't match the expectations set on their site. Something must have changed recently, as many others are noticing the same delays.
