I'm looking to build a new PC and I'm particularly interested in the 5070 Ti, but the prices seem quite high right now. Can anyone shed some light on when I can expect these prices to decrease? Any insights would be appreciated!

Honestly, I think we might not see any significant drops. Companies tend to keep prices high once they rise. It's a frustrating cycle.
In my experience, it's rare for prices to go back down significantly. But if you wait for supply to increase, you may at least see prices align more closely with MSRP.
In the UK, I found the 5070 Ti available for around £749, which is pretty much what I'd expect at retail. It might help to include your location in your post, as stock and tariffs vary by country.
Yeah, seems like the stock is decent in the UK. The 9070 XT prices might drop too since the 5070 Ti is more readily available.
I’m actually in Nepal and it’s a mess. Prices here are really high, and importing from Dubai is making it worse. Just trying to figure out the best option.
Prices might start to drop when the next generation of GPUs comes out, but that's not guaranteed. Plus, if you're in the US, the situation looks tricky with potential tariffs causing costs to rise instead of fall.
Historically, new generations don't always guarantee lower prices on older models. The 4000 series is still pretty pricey, so I wouldn’t hold my breath.
Just to clarify, computer parts are generally exempt from tariffs. Many Nvidia manufacturers have shifted production to places like Arizona, so it's not as dire as it sounds.
If only I could go back six months when the AMD 6000 series was much cheaper! Now, it feels like a game of waiting for prices to stabilize, which might take a couple of generations.
But history shows that demand drives prices. Higher-end models might take a hit, but the lower-end options might trickle down in price eventually.
Right? The market always seems to bounce back to higher prices after a while. Feels like déjà vu.
That's true to some extent, but in regions like the UK, there have been instances where Nvidia lowered prices due to currency fluctuations, so there’s hope.
