Where Did the Voice Chat Button Go in the ChatGPT Mobile App?

Hey everyone! I've noticed that my Voice Chat button in the ChatGPT mobile app seems to be missing. It used to be right next to the 'Speak-to-Text' input for having a real voice conversation, but now all I see is the 'send' arrow – which is greyed out when the input is empty. I'm using the free version and have microphone permissions enabled, plus the app is fully updated. Has anyone else experienced this or figured out a solution? Thanks in advance!

Good news! The Voice Chat feature is back for me now without having to update. Might've been a temporary bug on their end. I noticed others had the same problem too, so it wasn't just you or me.

Glad to hear that! I was experiencing some weird errors too like messages not sending, so maybe they were just doing some maintenance.

I'm on the paid version, and the Voice Chat button disappeared for me too after the latest update. It seems like it might be a bug or something with the app rather than being a feature just for Plus users.

Thanks for confirming! I was worried that they might have changed it to a pay-only feature.

I came across the same issue! Thought I was going crazy; now it's kind of a relief to know I'm not alone. Just hoping someone finds a fix soon!
