I'm looking to upgrade my GPU after about 4 or 5 years with my current setup. I originally bought an Asus Strix 3080, which still works well, but it's starting to struggle with MSFS 2024 due to VRAM limitations. I'm considering the 5070 Ti as a replacement, since options with 20GB+ VRAM are out of my price range, and I'm hearing mixed things about the next-generation cards and their release timeline. My main question is: is there a significant difference between versions like the Asus Prime 5070 Ti OC Edition and the PNY 5070 Ti Overclocked? The price is pretty similar (around €950 to €1050), and while some of the pricier models claim higher clock speeds, I'm not sure how much that really matters for performance.

A 5070 Ti is going to perform similarly no matter which brand you choose. If you don't have a specific brand preference, any of them should work well. The factory clock speeds really aren't a big deal in the grand scheme of things.
The factory clock speeds aren't really a game changer since they all use the same GPU core, which can be boosted depending on cooling and limits. Cards with better coolers tend to be quieter and more reliable in the long run. Some brands also offer better customer service if something goes wrong. So, it might help to look at those factors when deciding.
Honestly, just go for the cheapest option available! I got a PNY 5070 Ti, and it's been a great overclocker for me, so you can’t go wrong there.

Are there any brands that are particularly known for bad service?
