I'm eagerly awaiting a surprise package from my dad that might just be a laptop, and I'm trying to decide which Arch-based distro to install on it. I've been using vanilla Arch for the last two years, but I want to branch out a bit and maybe explore something different, especially a non-DE tiling window manager setup. Here are a few things that are important to me: I need a lightweight system, I'm going to be programming for college, I do music production (which is resource-intensive), I want access to the AUR, I'm looking for visual customization options, and stability is key—nothing too experimental, please. Any suggestions?

Just stick with Arch! It seems like you’ve been comfortable with it for a while, and exploring its full capabilities could be just what you need.

Yeah, after doing more research it looks like the other distros might add more than I actually want.
