Which Build Should I Choose: AMD or Intel?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on two PC builds that I'm comparing: one using AMD and the other using Intel. The AMD build is available [here](https://nz.pcpartpicker.com/list/vCqVyW), while the Intel build can be found [here](https://nz.pcpartpicker.com/list/2HsPNz). The Intel build has some upgrades including a better CPU (according to benchmarks), a motherboard with Wifi 7, improved VRMs, and the capability for overclocking. It also switches to DDR5-6400 instead of 6000 and opts for liquid cooling, although I could downgrade to save a bit. The Intel setup totals around $250-300 more than the AMD one. I'll primarily be gaming on two 1440p monitors. Are these upgrades worth the extra cost?

I agree with TechWizard88. From what I’ve seen, AMD’s X3D CPUs are currently the best choice for gaming. The 7800X3D is a fantastic option if you’re considering an upgrade. It outperforms Intel’s latest in gaming setups and is about $100 more than your initial AMD choices but still cheaper than Intel's parts. You’d definitely get better value here!

That makes sense! How big is the difference moving from DDR5-6000 to DDR5-6400?

If gaming is your main focus, I'd stick with AMD. Honestly, there’s no real reason to pick Intel right now unless you have a strong preference. Many benchmarks show AMD’s X3D CPUs performing exceptionally well, often outperforming Intel's latest offerings. Plus, you'll save some cash!
