I'm looking to buy a gaming setup specifically for 2K AAA titles. I've found two pre-built PCs that are quite similar but from different manufacturers:
1. Intel Configuration: Core Ultra 5 245KF with an MSI PRO Z890-P WIFI motherboard.
2. AMD Configuration: Ryzen 7 9800X3D paired with an MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI motherboard.
Both setups include the same additional components: 32GB of 6000 RAM, a 5080 GPU, a 360mm AIO cooler, and an 850W power supply. The Intel option costs $2350 while the AMD option is priced at $3000. Which one would be the better choice for high-quality gaming performance?

The GPU matters more than the CPU when it comes to gaming. Both setups will perform similarly for most games, unless you're doing something extreme like playing CSGO at 480p with ridiculous FPS.
For 2K gaming, I'd honestly suggest getting a 5070 instead. It might be a more budget-friendly option if you're not super focused on maxing out every setting.
If the prices are close, I would go for the AMD setup without a doubt. It's generally better for gaming in most cases.
Just to clarify, the Intel is $2350 and the AMD is $3000.

But I’m using the 5080 for both, and I mostly play single-player games.
