I'm on the hunt for a new GPU since I returned my used 6900XT. I'm looking for something that can handle 1440p gaming on ultra settings. Given the price differences, which GPU offers the best overall value? Here are the prices I'm seeing:
- RX 9070 (ASRock Challenger) - $690
- RX 9070XT (ASRock Steel Legend) - $813
- RX 7800XT (Sapphire Pulse) - $483
- RTX 5070 (Palit) - $621
Keep in mind, prices are a bit higher here because I live in Asia.

I'd suggest the RX 9070. I've heard great things about it, and its price/performance ratio seems to be the best among these options.
I recently got a Sapphire Pulse 9070 and it's been fantastic! I was hesitant because I paid about $100 over MSRP, but it’s truly exceeded my expectations. I'd definitely recommend it!
If I were you, I'd go for the RTX 5070. It seems like a strong pick, but I’d also consider stretching your budget for the 9070. The 7000 series performs well, but the extra features in the 9000 series might make it worth it. Just some food for thought!
I'm also leaning towards the 9070. The performance seems solid and it's got a good value!
That's awesome! Sounds like the 9070 is a solid choice for me too.
