I'm building a new PC and I'm torn between two GPUs: the 5070 Ti and the 9070 XT. Right now, the prices are all over the place—I've seen the 9070 XT starting at £650, but most models are selling for £680 to £800. The 5070 Ti is hanging around the MSRP price of £730 to £750. Given these prices, is it worth saving the money with the 9070 XT, or should I just go for the 5070 Ti despite its higher cost? I'll be using the PC mainly for 1080p and 1440p gaming, some digital art software, and scientific data programs.

Honestly, for gaming, I'd lean towards the 5070 Ti at £730. The price difference isn’t huge, and it will likely be better supported, especially if you're doing digital art or using software that taps into the GPU. But if you can snag the 9070 XT for around £650, it's still a good choice.
If the price gap is only about £100, I'd suggest going for the 5070 Ti. It's close to MSRP, and performance-wise, it’s solid for your needs. I wouldn’t go for the 9070 XT unless it's a good £150-200 cheaper as the jump in performance isn't substantial enough to justify that amount.
That makes sense! I’ve seen the 5070 Ti prices dropping below MSRP lately, which is encouraging. But still, the 5070 Ti really seems like a no-brainer right now.
