I'm in the final stages of building my PC and just need to decide on a GPU. I'm torn between the 9070 XT and the 5070 TI, and there's a significant price difference of about $400 to $500 CAD. My setup includes a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and 32 GB of RAM. Which graphics card do you think is the better choice?

If you're not reliant on CUDA support, I would say go for the 9070 XT. The performance difference is minimal—just a slight increase in FPS and some better upscaling, but that shouldn't justify the higher price tag.
Honestly, both cards give similar performances. So, why spend extra for essentially the same experience? The 9070 XT seems like a clear win here.
I'm wondering what area in Canada you're in because around my place, the 5070 TI is only about $100 more than the 9070 XT.
