I'm trying to decide between the 5070 and 9070XT for my next graphics card. I'm looking for something that will last me the next 5-6 years for gaming primarily at 1440p. I don't need ultra settings; high quality is sufficient. I occasionally play AAA titles, but gaming isn't my top priority. There's a 100 EUR price difference, so I'd appreciate any insights on which card would be a better investment for longevity and performance.

Definitely the 9070XT. It has more memory, which is great for future-proofing, especially with FSR 4.0 being more supported now.
I'd definitely go for the 9070XT! Its additional VRAM means it should handle future games better and last longer than the 5070.
Absolutely! The extra VRAM will definitely help with more demanding games down the line.
If the 5070 had 16GB of memory, it would have been a contender for me, but the 9070XT is just a solid choice going forward!
For raw performance at 1440p, the 9070XT is clearly better. It might not have all the fancy features, but it packs a punch for gaming.
I'd recommend the 9070XT as well. VRAM is crucial; just look at how the 3070 struggles with newer titles because of its lower memory count.
True! But I think the 3070 still holds its ground for most games. The issue really depends on the use case. Just keep in mind 5+ years can be a stretch for any card!

Yeah, also considering how games evolve, more VRAM helps even if you're not using ultra settings right now.
