I'm trying to decide between two graphics cards for my build: the 9070 XT for about 1100 CAD before tax or the 5070 Ti for 1250 CAD. My build will be all white, and I'm planning to game at 1440p with a 360Hz refresh rate. Which one would be the better choice?

If ray tracing is a priority for you, definitely choose NVIDIA. The gaming performance will be quite similar between the two cards, and you shouldn’t have any issues with power consumption—just avoid daisy chaining.
Honestly, for just a $150 price difference, the 5070 Ti is worth every penny. You're getting better frame generation, improved memory, and enhanced ray tracing capabilities. It's a solid upgrade.
Yeah, it feels silly to save 150 bucks for a card that's just not as good.
If it were me, I’d go for the 5070 Ti. It offers better performance in ray tracing, upscaling, and productivity tasks. The 9070 XT is solid too, but if you don't specifically need those features, it performs almost the same in general gaming.
Got it! Since I'm going into engineering, it makes sense to invest in the 5070 Ti.

Thanks for the tip!
