I'm building my first PC, and I have a Ryzen 7 5700x processor. I'm trying to decide between the RX 6600 and the RTX 5060 for my graphics card. My previous setup was an old i5-2400 with a GT 610, so this is a big step up for me! Any advice on which GPU would be better for my needs? Thanks!

Honestly, the 5060 is the clear winner here. It has better specs, including PCIe 5 support and more future-proofing. The RX 6600 is already considered a bit outdated, and I wouldn't want to risk compatibility with future games due to lack of driver support. If you're aiming for long-term use, the Nvidia card is the way to go!

I'd go with the RTX 5060! It's a stronger card overall, plus it has support for DLSS, which can really improve your gaming experience. The RX 6600 might not be the best choice since it's an older model that AMD is starting to pull support for. You want something that will stay relevant for a while, right?

What about for casual gaming? I don't play anything too demanding.

If you're considering the RTX 5060, maybe look at the RX 9060XT 8GB. It could be in a similar price range and offers better performance with full x16 PCIe lanes. But if you really need features from Nvidia, like CUDA, then stick with the 5060.
