I'm looking to upgrade my GPU since my RTX 2080 Super is on its last legs. While I initially planned to get the RTX 5070 Ti, the price is a bit steep for me. I found that the RX 9070 XT is way cheaper and sometimes outperforms the 5070 Ti. I'm not very familiar with AMD products since I've always used NVIDIA, and I'm also working with an Intel i7 9700K. Can anyone help me decide between these two options?

It really depends on the pricing where you are. If the RTX 5070 Ti is around $700 and the RX 9070 XT is around $750, then the 5070 Ti is definitely the better option. But if the RX 9070 XT is significantly cheaper, like $700 vs. $900, then go for that one instead. Just check the prices before making your decision!
This advice is gold! The 5070 Ti is better, but if the price difference is over $100, the 9070 XT gives better value.
I'd definitely recommend the RX 9070 XT given the price difference you mentioned. It's a great value considering how much less it costs compared to the 5070 Ti!
Honestly, just go for whichever one is cheaper for you. I've used both of them and both are solid picks. Don’t go crazy on a fancy cooler either; they're not necessary for these GPUs!
In my area, the RTX 5070 Ti is $1250 while the RX 9070 XT goes for about $800 to $890. Even with a potentially limited performance due to my CPU, the RX would still outperform the RTX 2080 Super, right?
