I'm looking to upgrade my GPU from a 3070 and currently have a 9800x3d. The main game I play is Call of Duty: Warzone, and I'd like to maximize my 240Hz OLED monitor. Right now, I'm getting around 130 FPS in Warzone. I'm considering going for either the 9070 XT or the 5070 Ti. Which one would perform better for Warzone? Also, is the power consumption of the 9070 XT something to worry about? Is it significantly higher than the 5070 Ti?

AMD cards tend to excel in Warzone, so I'd definitely recommend the 9070 XT. It’s a solid choice for that game!
Go for the 9070 XT without hesitation. The game runs well on AMD, and with FSR 4, you'll be all set. Plus, if power draw concerns you, consider checking out undervolting tutorials. I had a 7900 XT and it was about 360 watts, but I didn’t find it to be an issue really.
Honestly, both GPUs are solid, but I think the 9070 XT is worth it. It's around 21.7% faster in Warzone than the 5070 Ti, and its power draw isn't as big of a deal as some make it out to be.
Either choice will work fine, but if you can get the 9070 XT at a similar price to the 5070 Ti, I’d go with the AMD card. It’s just better for your specific needs.
If you’re purely playing Warzone, I’d vote for the 9070 XT. It outperforms the 5070 Ti by a significant margin for that game. Plus, its power draw is not as concerning as some think.
Was the high power draw a problem for you, or was that due to a power surge? Just curious about what you're doing to protect against that now.
