Which GPU should I upgrade to from my GTX 1070?

I'm in the market for a new graphics card to replace my GTX 1070, which is getting pretty old at nearly 10 years! I'm looking for something in the $300-$400 range, but I could stretch to $450 if there's a really good deal. I mainly play games like Rainbow Six, Overwatch, and Minecraft, and I'd love to run shaders while maintaining at least 120 fps. My setup includes a Ryzen 7 5700G processor, a B550M Aorus Elite motherboard, and 32 GB of DDR4 Trident Z RAM at 3600 MHz. I'm a bit worried about longevity, VRAM, and whether or not I'll have any bottlenecking issues. I've heard some good things about the RX 9060XT, but I'm not very familiar with NVIDIA's recent offerings. Any recommendations on what GPU I should go for and where to buy it?

Definitely go for the 9060XT! I just grabbed one for my old setup with a 1030 GT, and it’s been amazing for running games on ultra settings. The 16GB version is the way to go for future proofing—don’t get the 8GB one; it's not worth it!

I'd strongly recommend the RX 9060XT 16GB before prices rise. Retailers like Amazon, Newegg, Walmart, and Best Buy are all reliable options, but they've got their quirks. As for bottlenecks, I wouldn't worry too much; your current specs look good!

If the 9060XT is only $100 cheaper than the 5060 Ti in your area, I’d suggest grabbing the 5060 Ti instead. But if you see a good deal on the 9060XT, snatch it up! It's been great for many gamers.

Going for a 5060 Ti 16GB could be a great step up as well!

I think the RX 9060XT is a solid choice! It's at a better price point than the Nvidia 5060 Ti 16GB, and the performance is quite similar. If you spot the 5060 Ti at a comparable price, it might be worth considering, but I’d lean towards the 9060XT for budget reasons.
