I'm building a gaming PC with a Ryzen 7 7700 and I'm trying to decide between the RTX 5060 (8GB) and the Radeon 6750 XT (12GB). Some benchmarks place the 5060 way above the 6750 XT, while others say the opposite. I'm mainly interested in raw performance since I don't plan on using DLSS or Ray Tracing often—most of my games don't support those features anyway. The 5060 is only 35€ more than the 6750 XT, so I'm curious which one would perform better for traditional gaming. Any insights?

From what I've seen, both cards are quite comparable performance-wise, especially at lower resolutions. However, if you're playing at 1440p, you'd likely want to aim for the 5060 Ti with 16GB instead. That said, if you're sticking to 1080p, either should work well.
If you're okay with used parts, I’d recommend looking for a used RTX 3070 Ti or even a 3080. Both could be better bets than the 5060, especially if you're trying to stick with Nvidia.
Honestly, I'd lean towards the Radeon 6750 XT. It has better specs for handling modern games given its 12GB VRAM, plus it's built on decent architecture. The 5060 hasn't been benchmarked extensively yet, so it’s hard to tell how well it performs overall, but from what I've heard, it might not outpace the 6750 XT without being VRAM limited.
When I researched, I found a site that claimed the 5060 outperformed the 6750 XT by 16%. But I'm still on the fence based on all this feedback. Where did you see that comparison, though?
I saw that on technical.city. But honestly, I recommend taking those numbers with a grain of salt, especially without real-world gaming context.
That makes sense! Plus, considering the 6750 XT's specs, it should handle more demanding titles better.
