Which is Better for Budget Gaming: Ryzen 5 8600G or RTX 3050?

I'm in the process of building a budget PC and I'm trying to decide between going for a Ryzen 5 8600G, which has integrated graphics, or a dedicated RTX 3050 graphics card. My focus isn't on top-tier graphics or playing at 1440p; I'm just looking for decent 1080p gaming with a reasonable frame rate. I'm not really interested in running AAA games either. What do you think would be the best choice for my setup?

I’d actually recommend going for something like the RX 6600 instead if it fits within your budget. The RTX 3050 isn't great, especially since the 6GB version isn't very powerful. The RX 6600 generally offers significantly better performance than the integrated graphics of the Ryzen 8600G.

Definitely agree! An RX 6600 can outpace the 8600G's graphics by a long shot.
