I'm trying to decide between the Ryzen 5 7600X and the 9600X for gaming, as both are priced the same right now. The 7600X boasts a faster clock speed, so I'm wondering if that makes it the better choice for gaming. On the other hand, the 9600X is newer and has a lower power consumption. I don't really know much about CPUs, so any advice would be appreciated! It performs admirably in gaming scenarios, and even though the 7600X has a higher clock speed, the 9600X tends to be more efficient overall.
