I'm currently using an i5-14600K CPU along with an RTX 3070, and I'm looking to upgrade my GPU. I have the option to choose between an RTX 5070 priced at $550 and an RX 9070 XT for $670 (both prices converted from CAD to USD). My primary concern is figuring out which graphics card would offer the best performance for the price, particularly since I'd like to save some cash if I can. Also, is there any potential issue with pairing the 9070 XT with my Intel CPU? I mainly game at 1440p and have 16GB of 3600 MHz RAM. Thanks in advance for the help!

The RX 9070 XT is generally seen as a solid upgrade over the RTX 5070—it handles 1440p gaming much better thanks to its extra power and VRAM. Plus, there shouldn't be any compatibility issues with pairing it with an Intel CPU. You're good to go there!
If you're leaning towards spending a bit more, I'd definitely recommend the 9070 XT. I've got one paired with an i5-14600K and it's been a great combo!
Hey, sorry if it's a stupid question, but does not using an AMD CPU hurt performance in any way?
Thanks for the info, I'll keep that in mind!
