I've primarily used Windows for years, but I'm considering switching to Linux since Windows has been getting worse with each update. I'm unsure which Linux distribution I should start with and would love some guidance from the community. My current setup is an ASUS ROG Strix G512LI.
I'm looking for a version that:

* Is compatible with game storefronts like Steam and GOG.
* Supports NVIDIA drivers.
