Hey everyone! I'm looking for advice on which Linux distribution is the best for gaming, specifically between Pop OS, Nobara, Bazzite, and Zorin. I want a distro that runs smoothly without much hassle and is capable of supporting my RX 9060XT GPU, preferably with FSR4 in the drivers. It would be great if the distro comes pre-installed with Steam, Heroic, and Lutris for managing my games. Additionally, I'd like to have LibreOffice so my wife and kids can use it too, and I need drivers for Brother and Epson printers. Any suggestions would be really appreciated! Thanks!

I’m currently using KDE Neon OS and I’m super happy with it! It supports gaming well and has a clean interface.

I switched from Mint to Cachy OS, and the performance jump in gaming has been fantastic! It’s totally worth trying.

For a stable experience on gaming, I’d recommend Debian 13. It has good support for newer kernels which work with your GPU. It's not the flashiest, but it gets the job done really well.

Honestly, any distro can work for gaming. If you want something easy, just go with a basic distro and download Steam, Heroic, and Lutris yourself. Fedora KDE is particularly good; it’s well-supported and you’ll get a good community behind you as well!

I haven't had any issues with either Brother or Epson printers on different distros like Garuda Dragonized Gaming. It comes prepackaged with Steam, Heroic, and Lutris. It’s pretty user-friendly with no terminal needed for updates, which makes it great for beginners!

I would go for Bazzite KDE AMD. It comes with Steam and the latest GPU drivers already installed, plus you can easily add LibreOffice through its app store. You won't have to worry much about driver updates either, since they automatically update when available. Just a heads up, you might have to put in a bit of effort to get your printer and scanner set up, but it's manageable.
