I'm switching from Windows 10 since it's losing support, but I have no experience with Linux. I primarily use my laptop for schoolwork and gaming. What Linux distribution would be the best fit for someone like me?

I'd recommend trying Mint or Ubuntu first. They're stable and user-friendly for beginners, plus there's a lot of community support available if you run into problems. Just keep in mind that some Windows apps might not work as well, so be ready for that.
There isn't really a 'best' option since it varies by need, but I've been impressed with Fedora lately. It's user-friendly and has been improving a lot, so it might be a great choice for you to start with.
Thanks for the tip!
