Which Mid-Range GPU Should I Choose for Longevity?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and want to make a choice that'll last me about five years without breaking the bank. I'm considering a few options: the 9060 XT 16 GB for $350, the 5060 Ti 16 GB for $399, the 5070 for $499, and the 9070 for $499. I initially thought about sticking with the 9060 XT and 5060 Ti, but I could possibly extend my budget for something a bit more powerful. Just not sure if the 9060 XT's price is too good to pass up! For context, I've got an AMD Ryzen 7 5800XT CPU. Any thoughts?

If you’re gaming at 1440p, I’d recommend going for one of the $500 options. But if you’re mainly at 1080p, the 9060 XT should handle things just fine.

If you're aiming for a GPU that'll last at least 5 years, I'd look for a good deal on a 9070 XT. I've heard some people found only a $30 difference between the non-XT and XT versions, which could be worth it. Otherwise, I'd lean towards the 5070 or 9070, but if the 8GB variant is all they have, you can't go wrong with the 9060 XT 16GB instead.

The 5070 and 9070 I'm looking at are both 12GB and 16GB respectively.

I would personally go with either the 5070 or the 9070. They're both solid choices!

What resolution are you gaming at and what types of games do you usually play?
