I'm trying to decide between two similarly priced power supplies in Brazil: the Cooler Master MWE Gold V2 1050W, which supports PCIe 5.0, and the MSI MAG A850GL 850W. I'm primarily focused on power efficiency and saving energy. Both options are modular and rated 80 Plus Gold. I checked the PSU Tier List and noticed the MSI has some concerning notes that left me confused. My build includes a Ryzen 7 7700 and an AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB. I'm looking for something reliable with good protection features and stability for the long haul. Should I go for the extra wattage and PCIe 5.0 support of the Cooler Master, or is the MSI still a solid choice?

Both power supplies are good options since they're from reputable brands. If the price is the same, I'd recommend going with the Cooler Master MWE Gold V2 just for the higher wattage, which might give you more headroom in the future. Plus, it's ATX 3.x compliant and comes with the native 12hpwr cable, which is handy for newer GPUs!
I personally haven't had any issues with Corsair products, but my experience is pretty limited. Just make sure to read some reviews on the MSI unit to see if any common problems pop up. It might be worth it if you're leaning towards that one!
Are any of those Corsair models you're referring to? Just trying to get a sense of reliability here.
