Which tech stack should I focus on: MEAN/MERN or ASP.NET?

I'm currently taking classes for both the MEAN/MERN stack (which includes React or Angular, Node.js, and MongoDB) and ASP.NET (C# with SQL). It seems like these frameworks are quite different, but they ultimately serve a similar purpose in web development. I'm curious to know which stack is more prevalent in the job market and which one I should prioritize for both employment opportunities and personal projects. Should I lean towards learning a JavaScript stack or focus on ASP.NET?

I recommend focusing on either React or Angular in the MEAN/MERN stack, as well as getting comfortable with SQL. In terms of job prospects, C# is widely used in larger enterprises while JavaScript is more common in smaller companies. Since you're learning JavaScript for the frontend, picking up Node/Express after that is a logical next step. Personally, I'd put some emphasis on C# because of its enterprise demand.

I've learned some SQL and PHP (managed to create a registration form), but I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the info. So far, I like Node because it builds on my core knowledge of JSON.
