Hey everyone! I'm currently running a Ryzen 5600X with 48GB of DDR4 3333MHz RAM and an RTX 3060 Ti. I've recently switched to a 1440p ultrawide monitor, and I'm starting to notice some FPS drops during gaming. I found a Ryzen 5700X3D for around $600, and I could also get an RTX 5070 for about $650. My power supply is 600W, but I'll need to upgrade that to at least 1000W eventually since I plan on moving to a higher-end component like an X800X3D and an XX80 GPU in the future. So, I'm wondering what the smartest upgrade would be right now? I want to keep things smooth without investing too much since I'll likely be rebuilding when the next-gen AM6 and RTX 6000 series come out.

It really depends on the games you play or want to play. I'm still getting by with a GTX 1080, so if you're mainly playing lighter titles like League or CS2, you might be okay. But if you want to dive into heavy hitters like Cyberpunk or Hogwarts Legacy, then an upgrade is definitely needed.
