Why am I being redirected to GoDaddy after federating my M365 domain to Google?

I've recently gone through the process of defederating my M365 domain from GoDaddy and then federating it to Google as my identity provider. Before this switch, I was able to access admin.microsoft.com without any issues when the domain was still managed and defederated. Now, however, after federating it to Google, I'm being redirected back to GoDaddy's Single Sign-On. Has anyone experienced this or have any suggestions on how to resolve it? I ran the command `Get-MgDomainFederationConfiguration -DomainId [redacted]` but it doesn't show anything related to GoDaddy.

I've heard some rumors about problems that come up when moving from one federation to another, especially after being with GoDaddy. It seems there might be some quirks involved with having previously been served by them. Not sure how to fix it, though! Just passing along the info I came across.

Do you remember where you read about that? It's frustrating to hear there might be issues, but I'd love to investigate more.

Sounds like it could be a DNS issue, which is often the culprit in these situations. Have you checked if your DNS settings are fully updated? Sometimes those changes can take a bit of time to propagate, especially if you're switching providers.

It's an issue with JavaScript redirects from Microsoft, not a DNS issue. We’ve already moved the domain from GoDaddy to Namecheap for both registration and DNS.

How much time did you wait in between steps? When changing DNS or federating domains, it usually helps to wait at least 24 hours to make sure everything's fully updated. Also, try logging in via incognito mode; it can clear up any caching issues that might be lingering.

I actually waited a couple of weeks before federating with Google just today, and I still had issues even with incognito mode and a different browser.
