Starting with 2K25, the game has been freezing every few seconds during multiplayer matches, even though everything runs smoothly when I'm just roaming the neighborhood. I thought it might be an issue with the 2K25 servers, but then I tried 2K26, and I encountered the same problem right away. My setup is wired to a WiFi extender, and my internet speed is 300mbps with no packet loss. It's only the 2K series that's giving me trouble; all other games are running perfectly fine. If you can test your console on a different network, like a friend’s place, that could tell you if it's a problem on your end or not. Also, remember that 2K games run on their own servers, and if their servers are far from you or have issues, that could impact your experience. It seems like it’s not your setup since other games work great.

I’ve cleared my storage (2K26 is the only game on the hard drive), cleared the cache, restarted the router, turned off crossplay, and even changed my alternate MAC address. I’ve tried both Ethernet and WiFi for all the usual quick fix Xbox issues.
First off, remember that wiring into an extender can be similar to using WiFi. If possible, try connecting directly to your router instead; that could really help with connectivity. Also, how are your other multiplayer games performing?
I use Ethernet for the extender, and surprisingly, all other multiplayer games run perfectly with no lag.

Yes, I believe the 2K servers are based in LA, and I'm in the northeast. But I connect to northeast servers.
