I'm having a tough time with my HP laptop running Windows 11. My disk space is almost full, and I only have about 3.79GB left out of 118GB, which is causing issues with system updates. When I check the apps, it shows they take up 79GB out of 114GB, but that doesn't seem right since the actual size of my files is way less than that. I've tried disk cleanup, but it hardly made a difference. Plus, I can't even connect to the internet, and now Windows is suggesting that I connect a USB drive to help with storage. Also, the OS build is 22631.6133, which I don't really understand. Any insights on what might be causing this storage issue?

You might want to check for hidden files or system restore points that could be eating up your disk space. Sometimes things like temporary files or logs can pile up and take more space than you'd expect. You might need to clear those out manually if you can access the settings without internet. If you're able to free up some space, it might help with the updates!
Honestly, Windows 11 has been causing a lot of issues for many users. If this is becoming a chronic problem, you might want to seriously consider reverting to an earlier version of Windows that’s more stable for your setup.
It's highly likely that your hard drive is just too small for Windows 11’s needs. Ideally, you should aim for at least a 256GB drive, as Windows updates can require substantial space to unpack. If it's feasible, upgrading the drive might be a good long-term solution.
If you can't connect to WiFi to download storage tools like Windirstat, consider using a USB drive with another computer to download those tools if you can. It could really help you identify what's taking up all the space. That said, if you're seeing issues with specific apps like Outlook or Winget draining space, you might need to dig deeper into those.

Also, consider checking the storage settings under 'Storage Sense' in Windows. It can automatically free up space and help manage storage.
