After the recent resolution of an Azure CDN issue, I've noticed that our CDN purges are now taking between 50 to 70 minutes, while they used to complete in under 10 minutes. Has anyone else experienced this extended delay, and is there a workaround to speed things up?

I wonder if this is just how it's going to be from now on. I tried adding a domain earlier, and it took forever. It seems like they're being overly cautious and introducing delays for some reason.
Yeah, I've noticed the same thing! They mentioned in their post-incident report that there are now additional validation stages for customer configurations, which seems to be contributing to the longer purge times.
This sounds about right; apparently, the expected time is now around 45 minutes. It's even mentioned in their FAQs. It's really frustrating, especially since it seems to slow everything down.
I've been facing the same delays, and I’m curious too if this is just the new standard. It's definitely frustrating waiting that long for what used to be a quick process.
