I've been having issues with my work internet lately. Both the WiFi and Ethernet connections aren't working, but according to Spectrum, our modem and router are operational. We've reached out to Spectrum support, and they confirmed both connections show as online from their side. Despite rebooting both devices multiple times, we're still unable to connect to our network from any of our personal devices. It doesn't seem to be a problem with the work computers since none of them can see the network. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?

You might want to try connecting a computer directly to the modem. If that works, it usually indicates that the router could be the issue. Just remember to check the IP settings, sometimes a static IP on the testing machine helps, but a modem reboot often does the trick too!
Have you tried unplugging everything for about 30 seconds and then plugging it back in? Sometimes just resetting it can help, but I know you mentioned you've done that a few times already.
Yep, I've reset both the router and modem multiple times, but no luck.
It’s possible someone connected their own router and is assigning incompatible IP addresses. That could create networking issues.
If you have a network switch, powering it down and back up might bring everything back online. But if you don’t have one, that rules it out.
No switch here, unfortunately.
Have you checked your DNS settings? It’s worth trying to ping Google or 8.8.8.8 to see if there's any response. If you don't have an IT team, sometimes tackling DNS can solve hidden issues.
I tried pinging, but it didn’t help at all. Just got sent back to the provider's help line.
Yeah, definitely give that a shot! It's a good way to pinpoint where the issue lies.
