Why Are My Bluetooth Earbuds Skipping on My New Gaming PC?

I recently bought a Skytech Blaze4 Mini Gaming PC with a Ryzen 5 5600 processor, and as a longtime Apple user, I was excited to start using it. However, when I connected my Apple AirPods Pro to listen to YouTube, the audio started skipping almost immediately. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting them, switching to my TurtleBeach headset, and even lowering the video quality to 480p, but the skipping issue persisted. I'm wondering if the location of the PC might be a factor, or if having my phone nearby could be interfering with the Bluetooth connection. Any ideas on how to fix this?

First, make sure you have the Bluetooth antenna installed. Sometimes, the setup can come without it, and that causes connection issues. Also, check if your Bluetooth drivers are updated. You can do that through Device Manager in Windows 11 by right-clicking on 'Start', selecting 'Device Manager', expanding 'Bluetooth', right-clicking your Bluetooth device, and choosing 'Update driver'. Good luck!

The antenna for the router is fine, but is there actually supposed to be a Bluetooth antenna for the PC? Still plugged in via ethernet. How do I check for driver updates on Windows 11?

Could you post a picture of the back of your computer? Sometimes seeing the setup can help troubleshoot any connection issues.

You might want to check your sound settings. Sometimes the quality settings can be messed up, which can lead to skipping. Also, ensure that your Bluetooth and Wi-Fi antennas are properly connected. Make sure your PC is fully updated, too.

What do you mean by fully updated? Like, Windows updates or something else?
