I don't know much about computers, so I hope I'm asking this correctly. A while back, a friend upgraded his PC and gave me his old custom build. Here are the specs: 16GB RAM (2400MHz), Intel i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz, 8GB Nvidia GeForce 1070 graphics card, and 1.14 TB of storage. I was playing a game called Arc Raiders, and even though it crashed sometimes, it worked well for the most part. Recently, my friend swapped out the 1070 with his GeForce 2060 Super. After doing a clean install of the drivers, I've noticed that now the game is stuttering every few seconds, making it virtually unplayable. I've checked other games, and the issue persists. My CPU usage is around 50%, and the GPU isn't overheating (around 50°C). I'm at a loss as to what could be wrong, as I'm completely new to this. Any suggestions would be incredibly appreciated!

First, make sure your power supply is handling the load. The 2060 Super requires more power than the 1070, so check if your PSU can support the upgrade.
It sounds like a driver problem. Consider doing a full uninstall and then reinstalling the drivers. If that doesn’t work, you might want to reinstall Windows for a clean slate.
If you suspect power issues, run a wattage calculator to see if your PSU meets the 2060 Super’s requirements. It might need more juice than your previous setup!
Double-check how your video cable is connected. Ensure it's plugged into the 2060 Super instead of the motherboard. That could be a simple fix!
