I've been trying to get several HP S4 3000 scanners to work with Windows 11, and I'm hitting a wall. A quick search shows tons of posts about the same issue, but most of them are pretty old. Has anyone found a solution, or has this problem just faded into silence? I'm looking for any tips or fixes that might help!

When I faced a similar problem with scanners at work, we switched brands but had to manually register an older driver for it to work. With HP, they usually allow some generic PCL drivers to run, even if the official drivers are outdated. You might want to manually load a generic scan driver for your models and see if that helps!
It sounds like you're dealing with a frustrating situation! First off, can you share more specifics about what’s happening? Are you using a specific scanning app, or trying to trigger scans directly from the computer? A common fix is to scan to a network drive, which can often get around many of the issues caused by Windows 11. Let me know the details so we can figure this out together!
I get why you didn’t include every detail earlier! It's frustrating to see so many unresolved posts about this. I'm really curious if anyone's managed to find a solid fix lately.
I had a similar issue with Fujitsu scanners recently, and I found a workaround that helped. Check out this link for possible solutions: [Scanner Not Found Workaround](https://fi-faq.pfu.ricoh.com/hc/en-us/articles/44718800321689-Although-my-scanner-is-recognized-by-Windows-a-scanner-not-found-error-occurs). It could lead you to a solution!
I've used a few apps like HP Scan, NAPS2, and even the built-in Windows app but keep getting "scanning device not found". Any extra info on scanning to a network drive would be great!
