I'm facing a frustrating issue with a Group Policy Object (GPO) that sets up shared printers for all users. The problem is that certain non-admin users are experiencing extremely slow login times on specific machines. Interestingly, these same users can log in to other nearby computers without any slowdown. Admin accounts, on the other hand, don't seem to have this issue on those troubled computers either. I haven't found any errors in the event log, and while the printers do eventually get set up, the process is painfully slow. I've tried adjusting the settings between create, replace, and update, but nothing has improved. I'm looking for advice on whether there's something I might be overlooking or if there's a way to investigate the GPO-driven printer driver installation more thoroughly.

Have you checked if the GPO is set to allow non-admins to install printer drivers? That might affect the login time for standard users if they don't have the right permissions set up.
