Why Aren’t My WordPress Changes Going Live?

I've been running my author website on Bluehost, but recently, any changes I make—like updating cover images or adding reviews—aren't showing up unless I'm logged in as an admin and using the Elementor editor. After chatting with Bluehost support multiple times, they suggest it's a problem with my theme, which I find hard to believe. I just want to make some updates, hit Publish, and have them go live without hassle. I'm really frustrated since I paid over $300 for hosting for the next three years! I've cleared all known caches, and my permissions have been adjusted. What should I do next?

It sounds like caching issues are most likely to blame here. WordPress comes with its own caching system, and if you have caching plugins, those can interfere too. Make sure to clear all caches, both from any plugins you're using and the WordPress built-in cache.

I’ve already cleared what I know about, but maybe there's more to look into with WordPress's own caches. I'll dig into that!

Check if everything is updated—plugins, themes, and PHP version. Also, consider how long the theme has been around; is it still supported? Sometimes, switching to a different browser like Opera or Pale Moon can help too.

I'm using the Astra theme, and I get update notifications regularly. The site has been up for about three years, so it should still be supported.
