Why can’t I access my Hotmail account?

Yeah, I'm getting the same error! It seems like Hotmail's having some server issues. A few of my friends reported it too. I thought it might just be me at first, but it looks like it’s widespread right now.

I found that the only browser letting me log in is Firefox. Every other browser I tried just throws the 500 error. Maybe switching browsers could help? You might want to give it a shot!

I had the same problem, but I managed to log in by first accessing microsoft.com, then going to outlook.com from there. It could be worth a try if you haven't done that yet!
