Why Can’t I Access My Web Apps on Virgin Media?

I'm a cloud engineer facing an issue where some web apps I set up aren't accessible through my Virgin Media WiFi. Interestingly, when I try accessing them over mobile data or via a friend's network, they load just fine. Has anyone else dealt with this problem, or does anyone have a solution? I've tried using a VPN, but I'm still encountering the same issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve been with Virgin since the early days and haven’t experienced any blocks. Are you using a specific port? Also, are you connected directly to their router? That might help identify the issue.

You might want to check your hosts file. Sometimes local DNS settings can affect how addresses resolve, so it could be worth a look.

Since you're using a VPN and still facing issues, it seems like it’s not on the ISP's end. Can you share more details about your setup? Are you on a home router or a corporate one? Also, what kind of device are you using to access? You mentioned a work laptop, does it have any specific restrictions?

It's a home router and I'm using a work laptop. This problem hasn't been ongoing. I simply launched an EC2 instance and its public IP won't load. It’s strange because it works fine on my phone when using mobile data.
