I have a free account for an online newspaper, but when I try to log in, I get a message saying "access restricted, thank you for your interest. To access this content, you must have prior permission and a valid contract. Please contact our team at licensing." I'm wondering what this means. Could it be because I'm using an ad blocker or did they cancel my account for some reason?

It sounds like you'll need to reach out to the newspaper's support team to figure out what's going on. They should be able to tell you if there's an issue with your account or if it's something else.
I did email them, but I haven’t heard back. It’s just a free account, so I’m not too worried. Do you think it’s possible they banned me, or is it related to the ad blocker? I feel like if they banned me, they would’ve notified me.
