I got kicked off my main Wi-Fi last night, and now I can only connect to the Wi-Fi extenders, which are much slower and making it hard to get my work done. Other devices in my home can connect just fine. I've checked the drivers, restarted the router, and cleared all wireless data and settings, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

Have you tried resetting your network settings? There are guides available that show how to do it on Windows 11, which might help clear up any issues you're having. Just be careful with any saved networks. After resetting, see if you can connect to your main Wi-Fi again!
I think you mentioned you're near the router, so distance shouldn't be an issue. It could just be a hiccup with your laptop's connection. If it's still acting up after trying everything else, booting from a Linux live USB might help diagnose if it's a driver issue with Windows.
Have you attempted to 'forget' the network on your laptop and then reconnect? Sometimes, a quick refresh on the connection can work wonders. If you disable the extenders, does your laptop still see the main network? Also, double-check your main router settings to ensure nothing is blocking your device from connecting. It might be worth looking into what changed since last night!
It sounds like your extenders might be causing the slowdown since they typically communicate back and forth with the main router. To troubleshoot, try using a mobile app like WiFi Analyzer to check the signal strength of your main router when the extenders are off. You might also want to check the make and model of your router and extenders to see if there's any compatibility issue. It could be something simple, but we need more info to help you out!

Yeah, that makes sense. It sounds like you should gather some data about your setup first!
