I'm having issues with Steam not accepting certain games, specifically Blood Strike and Paladins. I've tried all the Proton versions, but the problem still persists. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

Have you checked out ProtonDB for compatibility with the games you're trying to play? It can give you insights on how they perform on different setups and possible fixes.
Are you attempting to launch these games from a Windows partition? That can sometimes lead to issues.
You might want to look for workarounds in the community tab for those games or check ProtonDB for any known issues or fixes.
It sounds like there might be something else going on. What kind of drive are your games installed on and what's the file system? This can sometimes affect how well games run.
We probably need a bit more info from you. What are your system specs? Some older GPUs could have trouble with Vulkan, which is crucial for many games on Linux. Also, what Linux distribution are you using? If you’re on Ubuntu and installed Steam via the Software Center, you might be using the Snap version, which isn’t well supported by Valve.
