Why can’t my laptop connect to WiFi?

I'm having trouble getting my laptop to connect to WiFi. I can only connect through Ethernet, and I don't see the WiFi symbol anywhere. Plus, the airplane mode option is all greyed out and doesn't seem to work. I've checked the network connections, and it only shows Ethernet and broadband options. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

One thing you can try is reinstalling your WiFi drivers. That can often solve connection issues. If you can’t find the drivers, just look up your laptop model on the manufacturer’s site for the latest ones!

I actually can't find the drivers anywhere, though. Any tips on where to look?

First off, are you sure there's a WiFi card in your laptop? Sometimes they're not present or might be malfunctioning. Just a thought!

That could definitely be the issue; sometimes people forget that not all laptops have built-in WiFi.

Yeah, I've had that happen before. It's good to double-check!
