Hey everyone, I'm having a strange issue with my PC. I can boot it just fine using my old RAM kit (around 4800 MHz), but whenever I try to boot with my new RAM, it just won't work. I haven't changed much—just reseated the CPU, which looks clean and fine. I see error codes like 00, 15, and 37, and once in a while 0d, but they seem random. I even ordered another new RAM kit thinking the first might be dead, but I'm still having the same problem. This makes me think the CPU is likely okay since it handles the older kit without any hiccups. I've also run a memtest on the slow RAM, and everything checked out fine, so I wonder if the memory controller is functioning too? I've tried letting it sit on code 15 for memory training, but nothing happens until I restart. My setup includes a 9800X3D CPU and an Asrock X870E Nova Wifi motherboard. Oh, and I'm often seeing code 71, but I can't seem to find what that means. Any thoughts?

Have you tried resetting the CMOS after installing the new memory? Sometimes it can help clear up compatibility issues. Give that a shot and see if it works for the new RAM.
Yeah, I did that at first, but it didn't help. I tried it again, and it still stalls at code 00. If I reboot, I end up with codes 37 or 15 again.
